It's Time to Turn On Your Irrigation System

It looks like warmer weather is finally here!  With sunny days, warm temperatures, and drier air you need to make sure your sprinkler system is turned on and working properly.  Irrigation companies are busy so be sure to call ASAP.  Make sure they not only turn on the system, but have the system checked for any damage to lines and heads.  Plants and grass will need to get water so they don't burn out.

For the best watering results:

Run your irrigation system during the early morning hours.  Temperatures are cooler then and water won't evaporate.  Evening hours are also favorable.  Mid-afternoon is the worst time due to heat and humidity.

Be sure sprinkler heads are free of tall grass, groundcover, or shrubs to avoid uneven watering from deflection.

These simple steps will contribute to a great looking landscape!
