With the recent popularity of polymeric sand, many home owners are trying to improve their patio or sidewalk. It is important that high quality polymeric sand is used. Many of the big box stores sell inexpensive polymeric sand that has different ingredients than the polymeric sand made by the brick paver manufacturers. It's important to follow the instructions exactly when applying polymeric sand. If any residue is not removed from the surface of the pavers before the polymeric sand is activated, it will permanently stain the brick pavers. Recently, we have noticed an increase in customers unhappy with their polymeric sand application. We recommend this process is done by an experienced landscaper to avoid any damage to pavers.
